About the position
Formwork and concrete worker on a rental apartment project at Norðagøta (Faroe Islands), on block C – the largest of three apartment blocks.
Main tasks:
- Erecting, adjusting and stripping system formwork (e.g. Doka) for walls and slabs.
- Working together with the steel fixers on reinforcement and preparing for concrete pours.
- Concrete pouring and finishing as directed by the client's foreman.
The work is carried out on site under the client's foreman, following the site's safety rules and STERK's staff handbook. Tasks may vary with the progress of the project
Requirements
- We are looking for 2 qualified Concrete Workers
- Minimum 4 years of proven, relevant trade experience
- Communicative English or a Scandinavian language
- Reliability, diligence, and pride in work
- Valid EU/EEA passport
- Clean criminal record certificate required

All other insurances (work injury, annual Europe travel, belongings, life, sudden illness) are provided by STERK
- Admin support: Guidance with bank account setup, tax registration and the documents needed for onboarding
