About the position
Carpenter for the interior renovation of a detached house in the Faroe Islands, working in a team of two.
Main tasks:
- Interior carpentry and renovation work on the house, as directed by the client.
Requirements:
- Able to work independently, planning and carrying out the work without close supervision.
The work is carried out on site under the client's foreman, following the site's safety rules and STERK's staff handbook. Tasks may vary with the progress of the project.
Requirements
- We are looking for 2 qualified Carpenters
- Minimum 4 years of proven, relevant trade experience
- Communicative English or a Scandinavian language
- Reliability, diligence, and pride in work
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Valid EU/EEA passport
- Clean criminal record certificate required
- Good physical fitness for both indoor and outdoor carpentry work in all weather. Later projects may be outdoors.
- Driver's license category B preferred

All other insurances (work injury, annual Europe travel, belongings, life, sudden illness) are provided by STERK
- Admin support: Guidance with bank account setup, tax registration and the documents needed for onboarding
